Cutter's 3rd Birthday

I finally had some time to add pictures from Cutter's birthday. It was so much fun for the kids. They went fishing, ate snow cones, ate ice cream and then had cupcakes. I think for a 3 year old little boy, he pretty much got everything he wanted.

Pecos Rodeo Weekend

We took the kids to the Pecos Rodeo this weekend. They loved every minute of it. All the animals and all the cool equipment (trailer, gators, and trucks everywhere). Cutter did not know what to touch first. The weekend started off a little rough when Cady broke a vase at a local resturant. The owner made us pay $12 for it. We left the resturant only to then turn around so Colter could go back and get the vase (which is now sits by our fireplace) and also tell the owner her food sucked. It was actually really funny coming from Colter. After that, he started drinking and everything slowly got better!

Crawfish Boil

Our first crawfish boil started out a little scary and ended up being GREAT! The 40 pounds of crawfish we order from Louisiana were not suppose to be delivered until Saturday morning but instead came in on Friday morning. So we had a whole 24 hours to keep those little suckers alive and lucky for the crawfish we know nothing about how to do it. Colter followed some directions from the guy who shipped them, however, since he had a typical Louisiana draw...Neither one of them knew what the hell they were talking about. Colter divided the crawfish up into two different coolers and filled them with ice to keep them between 36 and 46 degrees. However, they stopped moving and looked dead! So, I, Of coarse, called Colter in a panic....."They all died" Not really, they actually just look dead because they are so cold. They all ended up mostly alive. The ones that weren't alive, they cooked anyway because they figured at that point of the evening everyone had been drinking all night and were not going to know who to blame in the morning....the beer....or the crawfish! It was a great time and hopefully a new Lange tradition.

Cady Sleeping at Dinner

Cady fell asleep tonight at dinner and Cutter thought it was really funny. I'm not sure what made us laugh harder, Cady sleeping or Cutter talking about it. Pause the music on the right before you press the play button below so you can hear Cutter talking.

Cowgirl and Cowboys

We went out to Aunt Nan's house this weekend for a graduation cookout and the kids didn't know what to do with themselves. They loved being able to run free and play in the dirt. Cutter thinks he is a real cowboy...however...he had a little run in with a horse and has maybe had a change of heart.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming Lessons are over and we are ready to swim in Gran and Gramp's pool! The kids had a great time and hopefully learned something during those 8 sessions. I know Cutter did! He is a little swimming fool. Cady just likes to jump in. Colter normally participated but Gran came along the last week to get in on the action and the kids loved it!

Memorial Day Weekend 2009

We had such a fun weekend! The kids loved every minute of the hot weather! We played outside in kiddie pools and with water hoses. The running joke is "You might be a redneck if you put a baby pool is your front yard when you have a real pool in your backyard" But the kids love the baby pools because they warm up faster and they don't have to wear life jackets.

This is Cady is the dog bowl outside....for some reason she won't stay out of it! GROSS!
Getting ready for the park!

Our New Backyard!

Here are some pictures of our beautiful new backyard! We love it and the kids love it! I think we are finally ready for summer. How fun will it be to sit out here and drink a beer or a glass of wine and watch the kids ride their tractors. Colter, his dad, my dad and Taylor put alot of man hours into this arbor and it shows. Colter also had new sod put down so the grass is finally rooting in good. I guess my only contribution was the flowers...(but Colter claims he is the only one that waters them) Regardless, we are truly ready for summer around here!

Little Miss Sunshine

This is my little bathing beauty.... The kids are taking swimming lessons for the next 4 weeks and are really enjoying them. Cutter is doing really good and actually learning new things, but Cady is a different story. She does not participate very well (at least she looks really cute while she is screaming her head off). I tried to take some new pictures of Cutter but he did not want to he said, so I will try again this weekend to get some on here of him.
